Some rumors suggest that there will be separate launch dates in 2023, with certain models likely shipping later than others (2022 and he said 2020 as well). However, an August 2023 report claims that all four models will ship at the same time, although the iPhone 15 Pro Max supply may be limited at launch.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus:

Similar to the iPhone 14 series,  the new iPhone series is expected to feature four models.

According to Bloomberg’s Marc Garman, who has a solid track record of reporting Apple leaks, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are essentially repackaged versions without the telephoto camera and the iPhone 14 Pro. Stainless steel housing.

The new phone inherits the 48MP main camera and his A16 chip from the 14 Pro. Externally, two of the phone’s display notches are replaced by a dynamic island cutout that also debuted on the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.

iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max:

Of all the things Apple is expecting, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max might be the biggest changes. Bloomberg’s Garman said stainless steel is gone, and instead the Pro model’s frame is made of titanium. Material changes could help reduce the overall weight of heavy phones even without a case.

The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will likely feature a new chip called A17 with a tiny 3-nanometer processor, Apple’s smallest silicon yet. On the front, the bezels on these two phones of his could be thinner

Wanderlust or lust for wonder?

The slogan “wanderlust” is of course an allusion to the word “wanderlust,” which means a strong yearning or urge to hike. Does wanderlust mean a strong yearning or an urge to wonder? Like everyone else, we’ve been trying to glean something from the invitation and wondering what that has to do with Apple’s upcoming announcements. Does the grooved cutout of the logo suggest a less boxy iPhone design? Metallic gray, Are colors like blue and even gold a nod to the colors of the new iPhones and the new Apple Watch?

Or is Apple just recognizing the ephemerality of existence?  But I expect the iPhone 15 Pro to take center stage.

iPhone 14 Price

For the iPhone 14 models, Apple kept prices in the U.S. unchanged but had to raise prices in the U.K. and many other countries due to exchange rates and inflation. For reference, here are the prices for the iPhone 14 series:

iPhone14 Pro:

iPhone 14 Pro Max:

$1,099 / £1,199

Rumor has it that for 2023, the Pro and Pro Max models will be priced higher, while the Plus model will be priced lower.

If Apple does indeed rename the iPhone 15 Pro Max to the iPhone 15 Ultra (see below) and add new special  features, that should be reason enough  to raise the price of this model to around $100 per £100. I think it will. In fact, in July 2023, Barclays analyst Tim Long suggested that the Promax price increase could be as high as $200.

A tweet from LeaksApplePro from November 2022 states that the iPhone 15 Ultra is expected to have a “significantly higher” manufacturing price than the iPhone 14 Pro Max

 iPhone 15 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max:

There are suggestions that Apple may add the brand to its iPhone lineup and the iPhone 15 Ultra now that the Apple Watch Ultra has been revealed.

These speculations first surfaced in late 2022, but they subsided for a while as it was said that Apple would continue to use the Pro Max name. The possibility that Apple would release an iPhone 15 Ultra reappeared, though, as the launch date drew closer. Bloomberg quotes Apple Insider Andrew O’Hara as saying, “Apparently Apple is going to use the nickname “iPhone 15 Ultra” for its plus-size Pro phone.” Ultra won’t be here until next year, according to Marc Garman, who is certain they will nonetheless succeed.

iPhone 15 Design

Apple has maintained the overall design since the iPhone 12, but there are rumors that the iPhone 15 is about to undergo a change. Here’s what we’re hearing about the upcoming iPhone look.

In November 2022, ShrimpApple Pro tweeted that the iPhone 15 would be made of titanium instead of stainless steel. Titanium is strong,  not necessarily as strong as steel, but it is light. Like the Apple Watch Ultra, this new finish could be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Multiple reports have backed up these claims, making it very likely that the new Pro phone will feature a titanium body.

Titan could also make  Pro smartphones significantly lighter. According to Revegnus on X, the iPhone 15Pro Max is nearly 20 grams lighter, making it the lightest 6.7-inch iPhone Apple has ever made.

According to ShrimpApplePro on his Twitter, the iPhone 15 will feature a “new edge design” and that claim is backed up by leaked CAD designs. The rear edge corners will be “rounded (like the iPhone 11) instead of square (like the iPhone 14),” the leaker explains.

Conclusion:

As for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, design differences will include a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port, and a transition from the notch to  Dynamic Island. The USB-C port will be the new port for all iPhone models, while  Dynamic Island was first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
